MEET THE GIRLS!
This is where it all started. The first lot of roughs were inspired by the nose art of the B24 Liberator (our favourite bomber). From Sleepy Time Gal, to the well-known Memphis Belle (actually a B17).

Wouldn't these girls parachuting from a C47 be a sight for sore eyes? I think I'd rather that then a payload of ordnance.

SO WHY THIS?
As stated above, we couldn't find any nose art on t-shirts and so we designed some of our own. These few designs were well received and from there grew the rest!

THE PIN UP GIRLS WHAT WAS IT ABOUT?
The attraction of painting a shapely girl on the nose of a plane gave the boys something to think about. She was their girlfriend, wife, lover, sweet heart - a woman that they had left behind and would hopefully return to.

It also personalised the plane, brought crews together and helped boost morale - it was like a signature, their personal angel to watch over them on their mission.

OUR GIRLS' STYLE
The B24FLAK girl is based on the style of pin up girl/nose art, but have their own look. They're not so out there, but we're sure you'll agree they have it where it counts!
