JAPANESE AIR FORCE
Imperial Japan
didn't have an independent or separate air force so both the Imperial Japanese
Army (IJA) and the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) maintained their own air services.

service was responsible for the strategic bombing of Chinese cities, tactical
air support for ground forces as well as limited air-to-air capability.

service was reponsible for strategic bombing and national air defense.
THE
FLAG IS NOT THE RISING SUN?
As you no doubt
saw, we've used the flag of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force rather
than the Japanese red roundel or Rising Sun. Why? Well we think it looks nicer
on the site.

WHAT ELSE...
We don't really
have any in the pipeline at the moment, but we do like some of the torpedo
bombers as well as the sea planes and twin-engine fighters...
